Meet the Coalition Leaders

  • Jon Margolick

    Jon is a CEO, attorney, human-centered designer, and Marine Reservist helping mission teams and organizations scale their innovation efforts. He formerly served as the EVP of the Truman National Security Project and was a founding member of NavalX.

  • Col (Ret.) Bill Waynick

    Bill has 30+ years of experience providing enterprise-wide services for the DoD. An industry-recognized CIO, Senior IT, Innovation and Technology Director, he has driven digital and cyber transformation projects across the U.S. Air and Space Forces.

  • Lt Col (Ret.) Dan Ward

    For 20+ years, Dan served in the U.S. Air Force leading high-speed, low-cost technology development programs, and he has written three books on innovation, transformation, and culture. Dan is currently an Innovation Catalyst at the MITRE Corporation.

  • Adam Furtado

    Adam Furtado is a product leader and technologist who has dedicated his career to driving outcomes-first digital transformation in the government space. Previously, Adam served as the Chief Product Officer at Kessel Run. He is currently the founder and CEO at Sagely.

  • Janice Fraser

    A Silicon Valley veteran, Janice is an author, product strategist, founder, facilitator, and coach for entrepreneurs and enterprise executives alike. Her impact has extended across projects at NASA, the Obama White House, Procter and Gamble, and other Fortune 500 companies.

  • Prescott Paulin

    Prescott Paulin is a technology entrepreneur, inventor, and defense innovation expert who previously served as Special Advisor to the Chief Software Officer of the United States Air Force and as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2012, Prescott founded the Defense Innovation Network (DIN) with the help of Microsoft’s Director of Civic Innovation. This organization now helps SBIR-backed companies to grow partnerships and simplify the funding and acquisitions process.

  • Brooke Boyarsky Pratt

    Brooke Boyarsky Pratt is the founder and CEO of knownwell, Inc. Prior to knownwell, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Production at Berkadia, a joint venture of Berkshire Hathaway and Jefferies Financial Group, after leaving McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner.

  • Sam Strickling

    An expert in forward-looking risk-taking with degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Business Entrepreneurship, Sam has brought his passion for innovation to multiple companies—notably Nike, National Instruments, and Tektronix.

  • Tyler Steinke

    An experienced innovation leader, Tyler Steinke has advised dozens of global corporations on innovation strategy, startup engagement, and corporate venture capital. He considers himself an evangelist for the portfolio approach to innovation.

  • Rachel (Kuhr) Conn

    Rachel has spent the past 15+ years studying innovation effectiveness—as an innovation consultant for dozens of billion-dollar companies, an innovation researcher for institutions like MIT, and an innovation lead for Mark Cuban’s portfolio.
